Icon5 Re-Install Power Steering D16Y5

Hello!

Just bought a '98 Civic yesterday with the D16Y5 motor and the previous owner deleted the power steering and I was interested in re-installing it. Does anybody know anything about this process?

He said when he removed it he fed the in-line into the out-line not sure what that may be, but if somebody wanted to help me figure this all out I would greatly appreciate it.

Can take pictures of whatever for clarification.

Sounds like he looped the lines. If you still have the power rack in the car (which it sounds like), you'll just need to replace the missing parts - sounds like at least the lines. Look to see what you're missing. You need high and low pressure lines that run between the rack and pump, the high pressure switch with electrical connector, reservoir, pump, pump mounting bracket, belt, etc. Your best bet is likely to go find a 96-00 Civic in a you-pull-it yard and get what you need.
