Did shop cracked my block?
Name is alex new here .. so long story short i had a release bearing failure on the freeway had no choice to tow it to a close by shop they did new clutch job and moved on. I started noticing power loss, hard starts and oil like flickering at times so saturday i did a compression test and dropped to 175 all across i lifted the car to do an oil change and noticed 1 of the half shaft bolt sticking out, as soon as i backed it oil started pouring just like if i had removed my drain bolt..
I havent removed my pan had to go back to work is there a change they cracked the block internally and pass thru a coolant passage .
Fear of being a cracked block and im screwed i bought this car brand new in 1997 and still has its original 45k miles on that engine.

Your sure the bolt you saw sticking out half way and that you removed was an intermediate shaft mounting bolt? The oil that rests in the pan shouldn't be that high but theres a chance that IF there is an oil galley built into the block behind the area of the intermediate shaft mounting bolts, that they either cross threaded the bolt and cracked the block or they put too long a bolt in. I mean if oil is pouring out an intermediate shaft mounting bolt hole like you pulled the drain plug...theres a serious problem and if it wasn't like this before the clutch job, then theres almost no doubt its leaking oil where it shouldn't because of that shop.
