Hi all,

I have an issue with my CRV and wanted to see if others experienced the same thing.

My 2017 CRV with the 1.5liter turbo engine will not go above 15 mph in drive. If I press the gas the car starts to make a whining noise which sounds like it’s coming from the front passenger side of the vehicle. I see the same issue in low and sport gear. Reverse seems to be fine. In park I can rev the engine with out issue.

I’m familiar with the gasoline/oil issues of the 1.5 liter engine so I checked the oil dip stick and saw that it was high. I’ve read that this could indicate excess gasoline leaking into the engine oil.

Honestly, though I have no idea what the issue could be and could use some advice. I plan tot ale into the dealer tomorrow but my inner engineer still wants to figure this out.
