Fuel Cap Leak
Hello everyone,
I just signed up to this Forum.
I have a 2013 Honda Accord Coup V6 with a "CHECK FUEL CAP" warning sign in the dash. I tried two aftermarket caps and reset the codes, after a few days the warning came back on with a check engine light following later.
I finally purchased an OEM cap from the dealership and the same thing happened again. I now have a check engine light again with two codes referring to fuel leak.
What do you think is going on here? Should I double up on the gasket? Is there something else going on?
Thank you

Try this: After every fuel fill-up. just tightened the fuel cap at least 3 clicks. If you tighten it at least 3 clicks, you should not have the issue anymore; unless the gasket was bad.
