Default How to break in Cams, or is it needed?

I have a LSVTEC build by JG. It has the Redline series head. It will not see any street time at all. When i picked up the motor from javier he said that he would start it, and dyno it. Is it ok for me to start it and then take it there or will I **** something up. Is there a cam break in process.

not a problem, when you assemble it, make sure you do have moly lube or oil on the cam journals and lobes. That would be bad to start the car with say a freshly hot tanked head and cams with no lube right when it starts.
