Hey guys, the car is a 1998 Civic EJ9 1.4 75hp obd2a (ecu p3x) from Europe with 150000km (93000) bone stock, from nowhere the car suffered a crank no start situation, we checked the timing, fuel pressure, spark and compression and was all good, doing other check i found the fuse #15 popped, changed the fuse, took the car for a test drive and we seen some smoke coming from the fusebox under the Dash, the fuse #15 melt the plastic around it but didnt pop. Towed home the car i start Searching here on the forum and read about the engine wire harness touching the manifold bracket, shorting and popping the #15, so i checked and there he is, there was a wire shorting, fixed the wire (temporary electrical tape), changed the fuse tried to start the EK and she started but die after few second, throwing a CEL code 15 calling For ignition output signal.
THESE ARE THE TEST I'VE DONE:
-Timing Ok
- fuel pump and pressure ok
- spark ok
- main relay ok (checked continuity with the multimeter and it clicks without problems in car)
- all the fuses tested with the multimeter
-immobilizer i assume it work, the key light work like it should
- tried feeding the fuel pump with an external power Source but still start and die after few sec
- tried using starter fluid and the car started and kept running on starter fluid
If i wanna check the ICM what are the voltages that a good module should output?
Any ideas or input are welcome, thank you very much
