Default TCM replacement

Hello,
I am replacing mt TCM for my 92 Accord. Does anyone know if a 92 Prelude TCM will work? I know the mounts are a little different, just want to know if the electronics are the same. The connections look the same. Thank you.

If your car has a manual transmission (MT), there is no TCM (transmission control module). For a manual transmission Accord, it only has the ECM. The ECMs are different for a 1992 Accord and 1992 Prelude.

I have a 94 Accord which could be different than a 92. Don't know. But I am running a Prelude TCU. There are four Prelude TCU's. 92-93, and 94-95, each with the S and the SI differences. Any will work for me. As well as one from a 95 Odyssey. The 96 Prelude is OBDII and no longer has a separate TCU. Same is true for the Accord and the Odyssey.
