Hey guys, i just swapped a b16a2 into my 93 cx hatchback. I previously had a ls-vtec (gsr head/b18b1) that spun a bearing due to a faulty oil pump, so i got a good deal on a b16a2 and swapped it. The motor cranks as it should, idles great and has great throttle response, but bounces at the 3,000 rpm mark and the needle on the tach moves irradically.

it is throwing 1 CEL for the intake air temp sensor, but thats because I don't have one. I have an aftermarket manifold and there is nowhere to install one (ill figure that out later unless it's the cause of the current issue).

I am going to go over everything and double check connections, vacuum and grounds, but i was just wondering if anyone has seen this and has any suggestions?
