Energy Suspension Urethane Motor Mount Inserts
Any installation tips? I am getting ready to install these tomorrow... does not seem like a hard job at all, but was wondering if anyone had any tips for making the job easier.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Well, I got front ones installed no problem... The rear one however is a bit of a problem. I followed the information (very helpful) but could not get the rear motor mount out.
In the pic, the rear mount shows both the mount, and the cross member. I undid all of the bolts, but could not get either the cross member nor the rear mount out...
Has anyone else done this? It is on a 94 integra... I fought with the friggin thing for a while AND am hoping that someone has a trick on this.
Any help would be appreciated!!!

If your installing them on a b18c1 with a stock Im you might wanna take it off, it gets in the way..or...drain your radiator fluid so you can pull the 2 hoses above it to make it MUCH easier. Its hard to get the socket between the hoses. from below...loosen the drivers side mount, and the lower torque mount so u can raise the engine to get to the rear one easier.
Thats what im talkin about the hoses.

I got all the bolts out, but the mount just seemed to wedge up against the firewall. So I decided to take off the support member... but that didn't help any either...
I pondered taking the coolant lines off, but it didn't seem as if that would help, as the nipples that they attach to stick out an inch or so.
I must be missing something, because I cant seem to get the blinkin thing out no matter how I go at it. I tried it again today from underneath, on top, jacking the motor an inch or so up, disconnecting the support member (which I could not get out either), and on and on... what a bear!
Thanks for the pointers! It appears as if round three will have to wait til next weekend, have to get the car back together for work tomorrow...

the braket that connects to the engine mount....take it off....take out the bolts that connect to the tranny and engine...at that point u can move the braket up...and twist it around till it comes completely out of car.....do this from under the car...then you will be able to get at the rear engine mount....don't ignore this mount...I did at first....the rear one makes a big difference...
I just installed my rear ES mount this past weekend. I installed the other two the previous weekend. MAJOR pain, but will be nice and rewarding afterwards.
Get yourself some extensions. I removed the bolts from the top
