Every time i take my foot of the gas and when i put the clutch in the engine stays at 2500-3000 rpms and will not return to idle until i pull up on the gas pedal with my foot. Then idles just fine. I believe it to be the throttle body it self. I am using OBD0 wiring and ECU on a B20 with an LS intake manifold with all new sensors. However the throttle body seems to be OBD1 / 95 integra. Could this be causing the problem? I would like to get a NEW throttle body but unsure if i should buy the same that i have on their or should i switch to an OBD0 / 91 integra? Also should i get Blox or Skunk2? Thank you for your help.

 

How is the condition of your throttle cable? How is your throttle cable routed? How is the angle of your throttle cable where it attaches to the throttle plate, and what throttle cable bracket are you using?

If the throttle body is sticking, you should be able to recreate the issue with the engine off and throttle cable disconnected. My money is on something binding in the cable.

 

I am using the stock 91 CRX si cable.The cable is in good condition. When it is not attached to the throttle body it moves freely. It does snake around a little bit under the hood but is not pitched any where and seems to move freely when not attached to the throttle body. The angle is not 100% straight more like 95% straight, But it does rub on the back part of the throttle body plate. However doesn't seem to be catching on anything. I believe it is a LS bracket but not sure what year or even if it is an integra bracket. I have that bracket attached to a custom made bracket witch is attached to the intake manifold because the cable is to long to attache to the stock location. I can trying taking the cable off and see if the throttle body does stick open at all and let you know. If it is the cable what should i use to replace it another CRX or another Honda

 

I have rerouted the cable in the engine bay that seems to have done the trick for now. Thanks!
