i have a 1991 accord original f22a4 atleast time of purchase but just bought a f22a1 due to complications with original motor. First day it rsn like a dream. Next day I go to drive it and notice a different noise. A lot more rough sound. It idled fine before but now it idles around 400 or so rpms and sometimes dies on hard brakes and or redlight stops unless i keep a soft foot ok the acceleration peddle. It also seems to sort of hesitate right before it wsnts to shift and sometimes wont shift unless i slow down by releasing the acceleration peddle or speed up to cause a downshift. Not sure where to start im sort of assuming timing at ignition. But unsure 1991 accord ex f22a1

 

The noise sounds like maybe....spark not working right? plugs, wires, rotor, cap.

But the shifting sounds like perhaps the transmission itself. Clean the solenoids.

Do the fluid levels seem ok?
