Default Help With D16z6 Girdle Verification

Hello All,

I have a d16z6 that I’m rebuilding. I dropped off the block and girdle for machine work and when I picked it up I noticed the girdle is stamped P2E. I’m wondering if it’s supposed to say p28 or if P2E is correct. any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Dan

In the sticky thread at the top of the page there is a step by step rebuild of a z6 which contains images of the main girdle. From my recollection all of the main girdles are the same in the dseries 1.6 blocks, but I could be mistaken

I'll link it.

Its probably one of the best threads on the internet. It is extremely detailed, just don't use king bearings
