I have 2 B16 heads one is stamped 88 and the other is stamped 90 and the cam rails are different. The 90's cam rails dowel pins are chewed up and I cant tell if they are supposed to be able to come out and get replaced or if theyre built into the rails. and if theyre built in how should I go about servicing them or changing them? I know mix matching engine parts like this is a no go for the most part

 

You can remove the dowel pins and replace them.
