I recently ran in to two issues, wondering if anyone else has.
I have a 2019 Touring that was made in June 2018 for starters 16,500 miles. So first off I never got that CLUNK fixed because no one but me can get it to happen. It's what some of your have got with the parking brake sticking due to the weak or poorly programmed master cylinder, so it might be linked to my new problem. Below are these new problems:
1. I put a new skid plate on and ever since then this car has been incredibly sluggish. I use to be knocked back in my seat if I had 3 bars of gas or less but now it feels like my old CTS, no bite. When I go to speed up for a highway I can feel something in through the pedal. I had a similar problem in my old S Class Merc which was an alternator but there is no code for that. It might be the 10 speed is messed up but there are no codes for that either. Have any of you with 10 speed problems gotten codes? Did you 10 speed issues cause loss of power, or were they violent shifts from 2nd to 3rd like is publicized?
2. My other problem is I used 303 dash cleaner/protectant on the instrument panel glass. Now there are like spots, like when you have that protective film on a new phone or something and it gets air bubbles. It looks like that but they're white. Is there some kind of like window tint film on the front of the instrument panel glass? Why the heck would it stain bubbles like that? Will it go away? Anyone see this?
I'm taking it to get the oil changed on Monday and I'll ask the shop to check things out, but I'm asking you guys if you ever had the 1st issue. I also want to point it out I'm saying shop for a purpose because I don't go to the dealer since they treated me badly with the battery sensor recall from the 9th gen Accords, and try to swindle me every time I'm in there. If you're curious it's Ciocca Honda, try to avoid them as best you can, at least the service department.
