Has anyone else had this problem?!
So in my 93 civic dx my passenger side brake light melted the housing..so I replaced the bulb connector and wired everything the way it was before I repaired it. The weird thing is...is that I'm always having an issue with only that one brake light/ running light..any thoughts or advice on this ?? Thanks

Now that you've replaced the connector, you probably won't have a problem for some years.
It's possible moisture got in and corroded the connector. When this happens it can increase the resistance which in turn, changes the current into more heat.
I've seen it happen more on the head light connectors and they get melted, brittle etc etc.

So after being harassed by the cops for fixing my brake light..I found out it was the ground wire that attaches to the metal bulb housing...I guess it got corroded and wasnt making the proper connection..it works now that's to the fee that helped! Its highly appreciated
