Need help identifying the correct bolts for driver side post mount. The mount is on a b16a2 in a 99 EM1. If anyone has the size, pitch and length, please let me know. Searched for a few hours and cannot track down this info. Thanks.

 

These two bolts?

 

The top two that muellersfan has circled above are 60mm long and the lower (shorter one) circled is 40mm long. Thread size is 10mm x 1.25 pitch. There is also a slightly bulged shoulder on the top two bolts, so they are unique. I would order them from the dealership instead of going to find something that works from Home Depot.

 

You two are incredible! I actually believe I have the correct bolts but will verify when I get home. If not, I will order them from Honda. Again thank you both, as those were the bolts I was referring to.

Sadly the botls I have are not the correct ones. Looks like I will have to order the correct botls from honda and in the meantime figure out where the rest of the bolts go. That home stretch of the build is draining me. Mentally..

 

So I lucked out and found the bolts in a bin I had not yet looked in. Next question, does the alternator use the same size bolts? The designs look very similar. I can see in the diagram above they are the size size and thread, but what about length?

 

Do you mean the alternator brackets or the alternator itself ?

 

I am referring to the bracket that mounts to the block.

 

All five bolts are the same for the upper and lower alternator brackets... the size is 10mm x 1.25 with a length of 35mm.
