Default K swap ek clutch issue. Any ideas?

Hello honda-tech community. I have a 1998 ek hatch with: stock n/a i/h/doctronic k20a2 engine and trans(5.1 fd, mfacory race 1 lsd), act heavy duty 6 puck, lightweight flywheel, high pressure clutch lines, k tuned billet shifter with oem cables. A month ago i noticed it became hard to shift, i checked the bottom of the car and mtf was leaking from the left side cv seal. I changed the seal and filled with fresh honda mtf. It immediately became better. 5 days ago, i started the car and it wouldnt get into gear. I checked clutch fluid and it was dark-ish with black gunk particles. I bled the clutch using a bleeder and changed the fluid to new. After that i was able to get into first and shift, but the shifts are hard. When i get to first gear at a stop, it hops a bit forward and all the shifts are hard to perform. It seems that the clutch is never fully disengaged, because if i press the clutch while rolling in gear and rev it, it acts like it wants to go forward when revving and like it wants to engine break when letting the revs drop, while still pressing the clutch. Also, the clutch seems to work with a delay. I re-checked mtf in case the cv seal was not the leaking cause but mtf was full. I inspected the cmc, slave and lines for leaks, adjusted clutch pedal play, inspected clutch fork and everything seems fine. I bought the car 2 years ago and it always grinded when shifting to reverse. The clutch has never slipped and the 4th gear grinds a bit when shifting near the revlimit. My best guess from my questionable experience and internet search skills is that the cmc/slave have gone bad. Any thoughts?

Did you adjust your clutch pedal properly?

Thanks for the input. I also adjusted the clutch pedal play, although i forgot to mention. Clutch engagement happens close to the middle of the pedal range of motion after adjusting. Engagement point was closer to the floor before adjusting as it had a bit of play.

I would advise to adjust to factory spec.

Adjust the clutch pedal for proper stroke and height.
