1991 accord ex auto transmission issues?
I just got the car recently and it has been thru heck and back anyways long story short it won’t shift into 2nd unless you are going around 25-30 mph and before it shifts into second you have to rev it really high to even get the car to 25 or 30 mph but after it gets out of what I assume is first into second it’s shifts fine all other gears. Also it did have a flashing S light but I took the trans computer out and replaced some capacitors no no flashing S but still not shifting right how do I know if I screwed up the board also any help with the shifting issue is greatly appreciated thanks again.
Try for the easy stuff first:
1 - take off the shift solenoids and clean them
2 - Empty and refill with the right amount of fluid verified.
3 - get the codes that have appeared.
See what happens. Otherwise you have some harder work to do.

It's not the same issue exactly, but it might have a similar solution. These transmission gets debris from the clutch patcks over time inside and it clogs up the sump filter. This is not normally something you can get to without taking it apart, however the person in the the above link figured out how to make a small hole and get to it.
Just bringing you ideas.

Make sure to replace the fluid to determine what else might be wrong. You have to do it multiple times to get it all out and over a course of a few weeks. I change it , drive for a week, change it, drive a week, last change then done. Gets most of it out.
i took one of the solenoids off and cleaned it also tried testing it but heard no clicks or anything so im not sure if its faulty or not i have some new ones in the mail let hope they fix the issue
