I have broken the roll pins on all but 1 set of rockers. Has anyone else seen this? What would cause it and would it make vtec not engage correctly?

The one pictured is not broken. I am not sure what would actually cause this kind of damage in a running engine, but it will NOT cause VTEC to fail to function. If VTEC is not engaging in your engine, you have other issues. Your rocker arm pads look unusually worn... what spring/retainer package are you running ? Also, what camshafts and valves ? Has any work been done to the head ?

 

The one you see is a spare. The ones in the engine are all broken. All 16 pins. Vtec works, part time. It feels like it struggles to get there.

The engine is 10 races old. Oil pump is also. Pressure at startup is 80 hot is 25. At idle. As soon as you touch the pedal back up to 80. Solenoid screen is clean. Pressure under vtec is over 60psi.
