Default 89 CRX Dash cluster

Greetings all. My son recently picked out an 89 CRX for his first car. The dash cluster partially works. The speedometer and fuel gauge is not working. Anyone have an idea on where to get a replacement? Aftermarket or original would be fine. Thanks for the help!!

You'll likely want to get a whole replacement gauge cluster (check ebay). However, gauge clusters rarely go bad in these cars, you may have other underlying electrical issues causing those gauges not to work.

If the speedometer isn't working, it's likely got a broken speedometer cable, as the speedometer is mechanically driven in these cars.

I would inspect the fuel sending unit to make sure it's functioning properly before suspecting the cluster as being the problem.

Do you have a copy of the factory service manual (FSM)? If not, you should be able to find a downloadable copy by googling around. It will have wiring diagrams and troubleshooting flow charts to follow.
