Looking for help with a 1991 Honda Accord automatic 4 dr EX I got for a guy he said he was fixing it but it looks like he made it worse. It has no headlights when you turn them on but the dash shows they are on also no fan when you try AC and no interior lights but it dose have brake lights and the blinkers you have to manually blink them. Anyways I was trying to start with fuses as it seems like a few are missing I’m trying to see if anyone could post a picture like mine but with all the fuses in it so I know what I need thanks and advice is appreciated.
Thanks for the help hopefully I can find a pic like mine with all the fuses\relays in it all I’ve been able to find so far is black and white diagrams and I can’t read those well apparently they confuse me lol
Thanks for the info and I have the lighting relay I just didn’t have it in in this picture I was checking it it looks like one of the connectors in the fuse box got melted but the fuse looks fine I’m thinking that may be the culprit the fuse box inside the car is missing like 50 percent of the fuses too. Also what do they call the fuses that go in the spot for the rear defrost thanks agian.
ok so i replaced some fuses today and put the lighting relay back in but still no lights nothing on the dash saying if the bright lights are on either cant figure out why i have no lights. on a brighter note the ac works now its just not cold. Also dose anyone know if i can test for power at the plugs with a multimeter just trying to figure out what direction to look thanks! i will keep everyone posted on progress.
Replace all the missing and incorrect fuses first. Then take photos of both the under-hood and under-dash fuse/relay boxes.
Then we can move on to testing various wires, components, etc. to narrow down where the other problems are. With missing and incorrect fuses, etc.; it just wastes time and effort if there is back tracking to the missing/misplaced fuses and relays again.
