Default Blinking dash lights.

So I figure this a ground problem but not where to start with this. After I swapped my engine due to a broken timing belt, whenever I engage the turn signals, my d4 and abs light blink as well and occasionally the rpm and speedo drop to zero for brief moment. I checked the post in the alt so its tight. The ground on the frame by the battery is tight, the one by the trans is tight as well as the one on the intake

Could it be a fuse box pinched wire?

I was thinking pull each fuse to see what might be shorting this out?

Not really sure. The car sat for about 9 monthes before I dopped the engine fully into it. I did do a steering rack replacement as well at the same time since everything else was out of hte way. Everything done before hte engine inserted was a full timing belt, water pump, belts, etc new distributor. Idles good at 750 rpm when in park, no phantom rev-ing. Just what seems to be a really noticible vibration.

Some things to check:
  • Make sure the connectors to the alternator is firmly connected.
  • Loosen and push down battery cable terminals all the way, then re-tighten.

For clarity this isnt forcing hte ABS light to remain lit (I think it has a 1-0) code, so at the moment thats more of annoyance than something caused by this.
