Does anyone know what the wire colors are? I cant find anything online. This is an Oem Fog light switch for a 2000 Accord i want to wire it up to my aftermarket fog lights. Any help works. Thank you!
Fog lights for 6th generation Accords were offered as a Honda accessory. That connector and wiring colors are not the same as the 6th gen Honda Accord accessory fog light switch. Regardless, even though the wires are different color, they would probably function the same. The Honda accessory fog lights were designed to work with the headlights turned on.
Hey Hi5tawers, Did you ever get a schematic for this switch? Yours is the only on the interwebs that is like mine.
Did you figure out how to get the accessory light to function on it as well?
ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated.
The Red and the Red/Blk are positive and negative leads the create a circuit between the switch and the Multiplex Control Unit which controls the vehicle's interior light dimmer.
The middle wire (white) is the 12v in to power the switch.
The Blue/Red wire is the 12v out to the fog lights.
The White/Blu wire also runs 12v out. I'm unsure what it's purpose is for.
I still need to know how to wire power to the on/off green light.
If anyone has that info... please by all means let me know.
