good civic exhaust tone

Default good civic exhaust tone

i have a D Series Civic and i want to get the best possible tone out of my exhaust with
mouth sounding too raspy, any ideas on best possible options?

I prefer an unequal 4 to 1 header with yonaka exhaust. You will find that the resonator behind the catalytic converter is the main thing that changes the exhaust tone and raspiness.

For best out of the box sound the only good choice is yonaka.

Try a Megan exhaust system. It’s kind of quiet but sounds good going down the road

+1 on the yonaka. An intake will give you some good noise too.
