Anyone own a 2020 Pilot with computer and wiring harness issues? Speakers making pop and crackle sounds and radio and odometer shut down while driving. Anyone else experiencing this?

 

yes. happens with the 2019 pilots as well. honda is clueless. i've read on other forums with the same problem. they have no fix for this.

 

Its the MOST network connectors, and repositioning of the harness. Some dealers have had success replacing the connectors. Keep checking with your dealer.

did all honda dealership receive that article? i don't want to take mine in and they strip it for a month only to come back with the same issue a few days after. and how do i go about checking those connectors?

 

There are a couple recalls that just came out for the 2019-2021 Pilot. Check with your dealer, have them check TSB 20-047 and TSB 20-051.

And for the 2018-2020 Ody they have TSB 20-049 to address the popping noise with them. Which requires repairing the MOST network connections on all components in the network loop. Whole dash gets disassembled. I would think the Pilot will get it's own TSB soon similar to this one.
