Default Timing

Okay rebuilt motor, cam and crank is timed do I need to time the balancer? Or the water pump gear at all? I keep reading about some bolt in the back but it wasn’t that far off from tdc when I took it apart and really not trying to take it all back apart again just to time one little thing so is it really a necessity
