Default 98 Civic Ex Wheelbase issue

I recently picked up a 98 civic Ex Coupe. Cheap daily I've been doing a little work on. New struts, rack and pinion, tie rods. After the rack and pinion it had a little pull to the right so it went in for an alignment. My toe was pretty well in spec but my passenger wheelbase is about a 1/2" shorter than the driver side. I took it to a reputable body shop that I know the manager and was told it more than likely has damage to cradles or rails due to an old collision. Dont see any obvious damage to suspension components. Was told it wont wear the tires to bad so basically just drive it with the slight pull. I've been searching and really cant find any information on this situation anybody know where I should start looking at possible causes, or point me to some better information?
