Default Honda Accord 2006 v6 ac compressor high pressure line stripped bolts

I have a 2006 accord V6 and I am trying to get the ac compressor changed and I got stuck since I can’t seem to unscrew the two 7/32 bolts and by trying to do so I stripped both of them. What do I do guys?

The two 7/32 bolts I even tried 5.5mm since it sits in a little better

Leave those in place. Remove the discharge hose from that fitting from below.

Fight with those once you get the compressor out. Also be sure to use a 6 point socket on those small bolts.

Hey thank you for replying, I went to the dealer and they said it’s a 8 x 1.25 size now Where can I find a wrench socket for this size? Here are the bolt details

Thats the size of the bolt, not the socket.

The socket size is either 12mm or 14 mm

All Asian vehicles require metric sockets for disassembly.

no buddy the closest it could be is 5.5mm or 7/32 and non of them are sitting cozy and that’s the main problem. No one knows what the socket size is not the dealer and not this forum.

Were you able to figure it out? I’m in the same boat. I actually stripped the bolts. Used extractors only to get one out and have it break inside the other so now I’m completely screwed.

I ran into these while replacing my compressor. I couldn’t get them off, I ended up drilling them and having to use an easy out to get them out.
