Icon5 dc5 type R 2005

Hello everyone, im new to this forum since this is my second honda car, its a 2005 dc5 type R, im not located in the USA but it is easier for me to buy parts from there than from japan, so here is my question, i was checking suspension and brakes on my car, and i need rotos, brake pads, strut/coilovers.
car came with oem struts on tein lower springs, but i really don't know why he cut the lower spring, so the car is very low and really shitty while driving. i already found the brake pads, nissan 350z fronts and rears are the same as the type s. the rotors are a different story, all measurements are identical except the height, so no luck there, saw a tein full coilover suspension but according to the web site it won't fit the type R. so can you please tell me if i can buy type S parts to put in my type R, or some vendors that sell jdm parts for dc5 type R. thanks very much.

why would you go from trash to a little bit better of trash? invest in a decent coilover setup, if that’s what you want, and quality parts. it’ll be worth it.

I bought the car with the oem struts and the tein lowers springs, but the previous owner cut the lowers even more i really dont know why, i just want to buy a set of tein full coilers but dont know if they will fit, if i buy the type S set.

2005 & 2006 DC5 Type S strut assemblies will fit your Type R.
I have a 2006 DC5 Base and recently purchased Type R strut assemblies for front and rear.
Since you have a Type R, the Type S brake parts won’t fit, Type R brakes are Type R specific.
Best of luck finding parts.
