95 hatch b series starting problem need help
Got a 95 civic hatch with a GSR. Car doesn't start unless starter it is hit. So the car does start but the starter just need a few hits. About a month ago when I drove the car everyday it would start up just had to hold it in the on position for a few seconds longer. Changed the starter but is still doing the same. Check all the ground and I still have the same problem. I'm just using all the stock ground wires so I don't know if it needs to be change to bigger grounds or not. The thermostat ground has a vtec solenoid wire running over. ( It goes ground, vtec wire, then 10mm on top) Can't figure it out. Help would be appreciated, thanks.
Unplug starter solenoid connector with the Blk/Wht wire.
Attach a wire to the (+) battery post. Touch the wire to starter solenoid pin. Repeat several times.
Does starter now reproducibly crank without a problem or does problem remain?
