Hey guys,

I have an rsx base manual transmission that has a bad second gear. I also happen to have a nice manual transmission from a 2003 K24 accord.

Can I swap the gearset from the accord into the rsx base transmission? are the guts of the transmission compatible?

Anything else compatible?

 

Should swap no problem. You will probably find the countershaft bearing in the case needs to be swapped and the pilot bearing on the K24 input shaft is bigger. No problem as the bearing/bushing OD is the same and will fit your flywheel.
