Default The Integra Type-R radiator thread

I've settled on a Koyo S2028 copper radiator with plastic end tanks to replace my leaking OEM ITR radiator (19010-P73-A03) since the OEM radiators are discontinued. Anyone have experience with the Koyo S2028? What other radiators have you guys used? Interested in reviews and pics. I'm going for the S2028 for the OEM look and the price (half the price of the Koyo aluminum V083146) .Thanks!

I would NOT suggest the koyo S2028 copper you mentioned, especially for ITR. The best aftermarket non-denso piece without the trans cooler ports is the TYC 2028. It is aluminum like the OEM ITR piece and is pretty decent quality.

If you're looking for OEM style but better cooling capacity I would suggest looking into the Go-autoworks DC2 full length and then having it powder coated matte black. You can ask Greg at Go-auto to not put the Go-autoworks badge on it so it looks a little more OEM. I just got one from him last month and it appears to be top notch quality for the price.

You need to reference the radiator thread on Type R Club again. I believe I was posting on that with you.

Plastic end tanks always end up being a point of failure.

This is very true. Or at least where the core and the tanks are crimped together. I would go with the Koyo full aluminum and never look back. TYC does make a decent aftermarket option that does look OE. Denso IS the OE manufacturer so if yuo can find one that is as good as buying from Acura.

Top two pics are the OEM radiator and cap. Bottom two pics are the TYC 2028 radiator and an aftermarket cap. I was surprised that the OEM-like TYC needed a different cap.

I called Denso today to see if I might be able to get some ITR radiators manufactured again. It didn't go well but I am still trying.

Does anyone still have their stock Denso radiator? I am hoping I can get some pictures of it.

Assume it's no use if still in the car?
