Hey guys,
I'm wondering if you think $1k is reasonable for an A/C compressor change. my mechanic quoted me for $500 for the part and $500 for labor. Can i find cheaper if I shop around?

You can buy the OEM A/C compressor for around $350+ depending on your trim level. I know the Si is around $350.
