Hi, my 1987 honda crx alternator wont charge, i have changed the regulator but to no sucess. Then i checked the alternator plug and concluded that the fr signal wire was missing from the wire harness. The connector to the regulator has four pins but there are only three wires. C (computer), ig (ignition) and l (warning lamp). I tried locating the pgm-fi to search for the fr signal but could not find it. Does the alternator need that fr-signal to priperly function?
