Default Spoon Calipers on 96 Spec ITR

Looking to install Spoon Twin Block calipers on my JDM 96 spec ITR but unsure they if will clear the factory 96 Spec wheels. I know I need 282mm rotors and possibly a spacer. Does anyone know if they will fit?

But he's talking about a 96, so it doesn't have CTR wheels... It's the 4x114 variant that came with 262mm rotors. In theory you should be able to use the ~95 Prelude vtec rotors with these calipers, but I've never had a 4x114 car so I can't confirm this. Before there were Mini rotors I used the Prelude rotors redrilled to 4x100 for my ITR-sized brake swaps. No clue if the Spoon calipers will clear the 96 ITR wheels though.

OK I was sleep posting yesterday, I thought he was asking about he USDM iTR / CTR wheels, which do fit with no spacer.

JDM 98+ ITR wheels do not fit without a spacer.

I'm not sure about the 96 ITR wheels, but they are similar to the CTR wheels, so they will probably fit.

All CTRs and ITRs have 282mm rotors afaik, I don't think the 4x114s had smaller brakes did they?

I thought they were still 262mm for some reason, I’ve not worked with the four lug variant. I imagine the ‘lude rotor is still the correct one though. Maybe OP can post a picture of what he’s already got.

edit: Here, this is what I always thought. Prelude vtec rotors will get you to your spoon calipers. Base prelude rotors for stock sized brakes. The four-lug cars maintained the same sized brakes as the base Integra. This oddball configuration is why 96R swaps are so cheap.

I could have sworn I read the 96 spec wheels had difficulty clearing the larger calipers, but I can't seem to find information, but if they do have issues clearing the stock 98spec calipers, they won't clear the spoons

To answer your questions:

1) No, the twinblocks will not clear 96' spec wheels with out spacers.

2) You will need the prelude VTEC rotors + 3mm inner spacer behind the rotor or the Spoon rotors.

3) You will need to run the actual Spoon bolts with the correct Spoon supplied spacer between the caliper and hub NOT between the bolt and the hub.

What I can say is that the Spoon calipers are one of the best values out there.
