where is the knock sensor located on a 2002 honda accord ex f23?

 

It is located near the oil filter, at the rear, underside of the engine.

 

If I am remembering correctly, it's going to be a little weird to get to.

First you have to see where I am talking about, and then you are going to have to decide how you are going to get to it.

Jack up the car, pretend like you are going to change the oil filter. For the most part, it's past that. There's also a water pipe that is blocking your view. So, what I did was remove the oil filter so I could see it more easily and get to it. You will probably break it as you remove it, I know I did and every video shows it broken as well.


The guy in this video left the oil filter in, but I found it much easier to remove it to get to it.
