Default 1997 Honda Civic Dx crank no start

Car ran fine till I parked it for winter. Went to start this year and would just crank and crank but not start. Had a code p1381 but was just intermittent so I checked wiring, dizzy, pcm/ecm, main relay and couldn't find anything. Im stumped any suggestions as to what it could be? It's a manual not automatic

From the unplugged ECU connector, Ohm test the CYP sensor.

What should the resistance be? I've checked continuity and ohms at the dizzy and ecm. One mechanic gave me specs but they were different than the ones in the service manual I found for the car

Post the ohm readings for all of your tests.

I was getting something like .350 ohms. Service manual I went off said it should be between .350 to .700. I ripped the harness out and checked for broken wires etc and didn't find anything. Car won't even start with starting fluid

You also need to check the two CYP sensor pins in the ECU connector for a short to ground.

I did. Measured from ecm and from the dizzy. Measuring from the ecm gave me some wonky readings though. Like nothing remotely. Currently im thinking it's the CKP sensor but I never had a code for it

Post a video showing what "wonky" means.

If the CYP sensor Ohm reading is fine and there's no short to ground on either wire, then replace the ECU.
