When putting in axles seals do you tend to do both sides regardess?
Hello all,
I see that one of my axles seals is leaking. The other side seems perfectly dry. Is there a general philosophy here? Do I go about changing both side because once one leaks, the other can't be far behind? Or just leave the dry side alone until it does start to leak? What are peoples thoughts?
Thanks.

Purchase both sides, when you have time do the other side. Not hard to do but the left side can be a bit of a PITA to get seated properly as the exhaust can get in the way. And with EXs you have to be careful with the O2S on the J-pipe.
Yeah, good point. Last time I dropped the exhaust out of the way for easier access. I'm so annoyed that I forgot to replace the seals when I took the axles off before. At least everything has anti-seize and little rust.
