I'm trying to disconnect my distributor and only managed to take the 2 pin connector out but I don't think the 7 pin is the same way as pulling the tab I'm starting to think it's stuck or maybe I'm just doing it wrong?

 

lube it man
use brake clean
this way it will lube enough to disconnect and also the brake clean will remove moister at the same time
just make sure to try and disconnect the plug while the brake clean it still wet
