since 2018 all new cars in Europe should have the Ecall function to dial the 112 in case of serious accident. I was wondering if anyone has any more information on what module does the Honda CR-V uses to accomplish that. It should be at least a GSM module to make the call and should have data from GPS (at least). I couldn't find any more info on the matter, if anyone can help me out
The only info I can find is in the owners manual at the end where it has the documents of devices emitting RF:
On the Serbian models only it says:
Denso / OGEY02
GSM 900 / DCS1800 / UMTS 900/2100 /GPS Unit Assy Ecall
I couldn't find more info on that OGEY02 unit though..
Also, what happens on the non-Serbian models???
