Accord cabin noise
Closing in on a purchase of the 2020 Accord LX CVT to replace my 2010 Civic. Some online complaints about cabin noise with previous models, especially on the highway, are concerning me. There's talk of the specific wheels and tires involved, road surfaces, even doing some after-market sound insulation around the doors, noneof which is assuring. What do you think -- has Honda largely addressed this problem?
I have a 2018 Accord and it's decent as far as the sound goes. First time owning a Honda so I don't have much to compare it to. Last car was 2013 Sub STI so it was loud as hell. The dealership I bought it from talked highly about the sound dampening qualities. I do notice the windows are super thick.

The 2020 Accord Touring model has a flaw with Active Noise Cancelling that causes an extremely loud noise to come and go. They are aware of the issue but do not currently have a fix. Beware buying the vehicle because despite knowing about the flaw, they refuse to fix or replace the vehicles that have them!
Hello, I have a 2018 Honda Accord replacing the 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid when it was my first impression of driving in the Honda I noticed the difference, in fact, there are several factors, for example, the type of tires (higher or higher, less noise and also less grip and vice versa) another factor is the rough state of the roads, but the good news is to isolate that noise a bit with:
