standard acl bearings is what I use with all my builds, just make sure you measure before you throw them together, plastigauge will work just fine.
the us type r Pistons will be fine with a gsr head, it’s the same setup I had a year ago except you are 84mm vs mine was 81mm so you’ll gain really good torque curve and power throughout the rev. Just make sure you check the rings with a gauge inside the bore before you start cutting away the rings to get them into specs, cut little by little if your using a diamond wheel cutter they will cut really quick and make sure you debut the edges with fine sandpaper. And get you some assembly lube at local part store and make sure you lube the whole piston and bearings. Make sure you follow the Ring clocking method in the manual or just google brother.

usually 1500mi but depends what type of rings you installed, I hear different material rings such aftermarket Carrillo will take up to 2500mi and I’ve heard oem within 20min the rings are broken in.
ive has an poor mans type r setup break using oem rings beak in within 20min now I’m since I’m using Carrillo rings it’s taken a little longer I have about 500-700 mi on it now.
