96 Accord Lx Cooling fan problem HELP.
Hey friends! I have a 1996 Accord lx (4 cyl) with a cooling fan problem. Neither of fans were turning on, so I started throwing parts at the problem (stupid move on my end).
Anyhow, I've replaced both fans, the relay fuse and the relay switch and they still aren't running. The only thing I could think it could be is bad wiring or maybe the fan timing control module? (the part behind the glovebox) I've ruled out the thermostat (being that both fans are out and if it were the thermostat that should only affect the radiator fan).
Any words of wisdom for me?
My other alternative, is to run a bypass manual switch from the fans to the battery to the inside dash area. I want to avoid that because it's messy and hard to hide your work.

There are two green plugs that attach to simple thermoswitches which control when the fans turn on. One is on the front water neck, the other is on the thermostat housing. With the ignition on, you can jump the two points on the plug with a paperclip or small piece of wire and it should force one or both fans to run. If it does, replace the fan switches. If it doesn't get a cheap multimeter from Walmart or similar and start checking for voltage/continuity. Start at the fan relay and work your way back. You can find the service manual online with wiring diagrams that will assist you with this.
