My 98 Accord Coupe V6 After resetting EcU just before starting the mil light appears then shuts off as normal. After driving I return shut the car off and the mill blinks 5 times. Until the following time I drive again. I am trying to smog but I’m not sure the OB2 system is ready ?

 

Your readiness monitors need to be set..

 

I kinda figured that. Is that normal it’s says when starting the car if the mill blinks five times it needs to be set. I turn the key and it stays for a few seconds and goes out as normal. That being said according to service manual is set. But it’s misleading I assume that after I drive that it still needs more time on road
