i just put back the whole interior back to inside the car, coz i decided that i wont race for awhile
after that when i floored the car, i felt the car slower than before (much slower)
the 1st and 2nd gear didnt kick hard like before
is it just my feeling or is it something wrong with the car ?
NB : i didnt do anything to the car at all

The general rule of thumb is 100 lbs= .1 seconds in the quarter mile..sorry Im not sure how much the rear interior is, I got my Rex gutted as well..

 

It doesn't weigh all that much. MAYBE 50lbs if you're lucky? The biggest difference is removing the passenger seat... it's amazing how roomy a 'Rex is with only one seat . You'll definitely feel the difference if you do that! I'd just replace the seats with lightweight Recaros if you're into weight savings; plastic isn't that heavy anyway. But if you want to remove it all you can spray the interior with truck bed liner to keep it the black theme.

i encourage you to run it at the track right now with the interior.

then run it without the interior...try to do it under similar conditions.

I'm sure it won't be that much of a difference...mostly placebo.
