Default Ep3 p1259

So I had a leaking front cover so I went ahead and just removed it and resealed it. In the process I adjusted the valves per the book. Now when driving it sets a P1259. I replaced the vtec control solenoid no love. Is it a possible error on Adjusting the valves?

Check for poor connections or loose wires at the VTEC solenoid valve and PCM.
Check the VTEC oil pressure switch for failure. Is this an after-market VTEC oil pressure switch?
Inspect for an open or short to the ground in the wire between the VTEC oil pressure switch and the PCM connector terminal. If the wire is OK, substitute a known-good PCM and recheck.

i think the oil pressure switch is original. The car has 240k on the original engine. I tested the oil pressure switch and I have battery voltage at the switch and there is continuity on the switch itself. The book doesn’t give an actual ohm reading. I was thinking of checking the filter out and seeing if the screen was plugged with dookie.
