Default Radio Swap

Hi guys,
I have an 07 Accord LX coupe and the radio isn't working. Rather than get an aftermarket radio, I'd like to buy the stock radio from the V6 version of the same car (with the 6 disc CD changer... yes I still like CDs! Lol) Is it possible to install the 6 disc changer version in the LX model? Thanks for your input

If it's the same generation Honda, it should work fine. But you should compare the plugs to make sure they match. Also, look in your owners manual and it should tell you if the CD changer version is an option for your trim. But its all about the plugs.

Probably, if it came as an option on a different model, but same year accord. My recommendation, though, would be an aftermarket unit. In my experience, it will sound better and cost less. I put a Sony CD player in my 09 accord. I bought from crutchfield. For an additional small fee during checkout, they will also prewire your wiring harness from the new unit to the separate aftermarket adapter for the car's existing harness. That way, when you install, you don't have to do any wiring, just plug it in.

How would I go about getting a Honda stock HD stereo for a 2018 Accord Sport? It looks like higher trim lines in 2018 have HD radios but the car I'm looking to buy does not. I love HD radio, I'm not owning another car that can't at least get one installed. Would I just need to order through Honda or be a junk yard scavenger? I'm currently looking on Ebay as well. Thanks!!
