Default B18 with build b16 head, chip or hondata?

Hi, I知 new to all this and I知 wondering what is the most cost effective choice. I知 looking into a 1996 integra with a b18c1 with a b16 head that has been built. It has been upgraded some with a cold air intake among other things. It still has the original p72 ecu. What is the best choice and what is the cheapest choice without potentially wrecking the engine?

"chips" are extremely unreliable and will cause the engine to go "boom".. plain and simple
