Icon4 Sending unit problem

Hello everyone, I'm new here, I'm from Brazil and my writing is not the best, so I'm using the translator, forgive me for something.
I recently bought a Honda Accord LX MT 1992 turbo with approximately 160,000 miles, I am facing a problem with the measurement of the fuel level. The marker always indicates less fuel than it actually has in the tank and the backup light never came on, I removed the meter from the tank to clean it and realized that it was varying from 12 to 17 ohms of resistance when the marker was stopped, when it activated he changed little in the multimeter.

I would like to know if someone managed to solve this problem or even have used another fuel gauge, here in Brazil it is very difficult to find new parts, in case I need to import from ebay.

I am extremely happy for everyone's help!
