Default 1997 honda civic Vapor Canister Info.

I have a 1997 Honda civic LX. I'm getting code P1457. I've already replaced gas cap, going to replace the vapor canister (17300-S01-A31) and Purge Control Solenoid (36162-P2E-A01).

The Vapor Canister has 3 tubes coming out of it the 2 at the top which is easy the purge/trim but then it has the bigger tube coming out of the bottom.
Is the big tube coming out of the bottom of the vapor canister supposed to connect to something? Can't find any pictures or diagrams for that part.

Only the 96-97 had this style vapor canister with the Purge Control Solenoid separate from the canister. I'm gonna look at take more pictures in the rear don't think i have another canister in the back at all.

I'm starting to think i might have the wrong ECU.
I think i need the ECU for a 96-97 pre-evap system upgrade.

Also this car is a AT to MT swap, the ECU the stock AT has was 37820-P2E-338
What should the proper MT ECU be?

The hose coming off the bottom is just a drain or fresh air intake. My EG has a plastic fitting on the rear K-member that it attaches to, but that just dumps out to atmosphere behind/below the K-member.
